Domain problems on the website

Hi everyone,

by the poll results, i assume nowing our problems with the domain name of the website interest you.

Our first domain we wanted to buy was a .be domain, cheap and meaningful for the va, but when buying a .be domain you will need to verify your identity, wich i did, but they refused, so i sent an e-mail to their support and they asked for proof of residence, and a signed document of brussels airlines to register the url, wich we don't have, yes and i had already given them a proof of residence, we are on the opinion that, brussels airlines would never even consider sending us a document for authorization and that if we don't ask they will do nothing because it is doing some publicity and not harmfull to the brand.

Our registar, by chance offered a free .store domain with the .be domain, so we had a working domain (yes DNS belgium, the guys who are blocking the .be domain are from what i now the only one's in the world to ask for identity proof, .store DNS only asks for e-mail verification and .com's one for nothing), this is why we switched to a .store domain, wich took around 24h to be activated to the website, in the mean time we bought and activated the .com domain, because it was with an other registar wich is our hoster too, adn that is why we have gotten in around 2 hour a second switch.

NEW A/C PURCHASE

I'm very proud to announce we made a record purchase of 13 new airframes! After our community requested we finally welcome our first 320NEO's and 330-300's! The aircraft are delivered in France and Germany and need to be flown back to their new home EBBR. This purchase costed us 237million and is a milestone we don't want to forget!

Please look in flight-requests as our Flight OPS department will soon request the Delivery flights back to EBBR (in phases). FYI: The a33F is only to be used on long haul flights, so don't you dare to fly an a330 to LFPG (Paris) XD

IMPORTANT: Cancellation Flight OPS

As you all know, there are strikes going on at our hub (EBBR). It will be in effect from 25/11/2025 - 21:00UTC (il y a 2 jours) until 26/11/2025 - 22:59UTC

This will also have an impact on our flight operations. Therefore, the Flight OPS department decided that we are cancelling all our flights EXCEPT:

• All returning flights
• EBBR -> LLBG
• EBBR -> EPWA
• EBBR -> LFMN

You may see in the NOTAM that it says "NO DEPARTING FLIGHTS", but our management negotiated with BAC (Brussels Airport Company) and the Unions, to only operate 3 routes.

New Record Monthly Turnover

Once again, I’m very happy to announce that we’ve already broken our previous record of 150 million euros! As of today, our turnover has reached 156 million euros, and the month isn’t even over yet!

Considering that we’re still waiting for Simmy to release the new update so we can purchase additional A/Cs, our only major expense right now is fuel. This means we’ll likely “have” to order even more aircraft than expected next month. Oops! 🤭

All of this is thanks to your hard work, dedication, and commitment to Brussels Airlines Flylat and its mission. I’m excited to see us grow even further, especially our Flight Crew. POLL regarding A/C purchases...

Would you like us to invest in a320NEO's? My opinion is that most of us bought the FENIX320, and see no reason to fly a freeware plane (fwb32N), so no reason for us to fly actual 320N's in flylat nor investing in a more expensive plane. But nevertheless, I want your opinion!

Keep in mind, if you do a flight in flylat using (for example) an a320NEO, but you fly the Fenix320 model. Flylat disagrees and you are not able to connect. What I mean by that is, if you choose a NEO A/C in flylat, you actually have to fly one in MFS.

Registration of New A/C? (Belgian Icons)

Our company executives (me) decided to place a new A/C order later this week. We have additional budget in making 2 **Belgian Icons**. Yes you heard me! BELGIAN ICONS!!!!

Now the only way to separate a normal A/C with an icon A/C in Flylat is giving them a special registration.

For example, normal A/C have OO-SS registrations. How would you like our purchasing department (me) to register our new icons? (Only 7 characters allowed)

For example: Amare: OO-AMRE, TinTin: OO-TINT....

You can choose what we take, do we stick with the "OO-..." or put that away and take full advantage of the 7 character limit? You decide! Answer this poll or suggest something else in the discussion channels!

Opening of our Airline Operations Control Department (AOC)

We’re thrilled to announce the launch of our AOC department, the team responsible for ensuring your flights are guided safely through the skies!

jules1468 and I have worked hard to implement an efficient system for our dispatchers, and it’s finally ready. We’re proud to open this department with Jules as our first **Dispatcher**!.

Opening of Three New Departments!

Greetings, we’re opening three new departments at Brussels Airlines FlyLat, marking an important step in our continued growth and professionalism. We’re looking for motivated members who know the basics of FlyLat, are eager to learn, and are enthusiastic about helping our virtual airline grow.

Pilot Management/Training Department:

The **Chief Pilot** will lead training for new Cadets, guide them through the Line Training program, and oversee pilot promotions/demotions. Department Head: **Flight Crew Director**.

Flight OPS Department:

The **Flight OPS Manager** will ensure aircraft remain operational, manage flight schedules, maintain profitability, and handle maintenance scheduling. This role oversees the entire fleet. Department Head: **Flight Operations Director**.

AOC Department:

As a **Dispatcher**, you will use dispatch software to communicate directly with active flights and provide assistance. The long-term goal is 12-hour daily operational coverage. Department Head: **AOC Director**.

This Month’s Numbers: October Profit Exceeds Expectations!

Unbelievable! Our finance department (aka me…) did not expect us to break even, let alone turn a profit, in October. We invested in 7 new aircraft, spending nearly **$100 million**, and honestly didn’t think we’d recover that cost this quickly. Don't forget we nearly **quadrupled our previous month earnings**...

But thanks to our amazing pilots and their outstanding work on newly launched routes, we did it! In record time, we opened 6 new routes, a groundbreaking achievement for us.

AOC Issue Resolved (ACARS Log Off)

Dear pilots, as you all might now, we had an ongoing issue with our ACARS system where the mandatory log off message would never be delivered to our AOC after landing.

The reason was that after landing, the Fenix sim resets the current flight plan. Once the Flight plan gets deleted, so does your flightnumber in the INIT page. Our ACARS system **NEEDS 2 flightnumbers inputted (INIT Page & AOC MENU)**.

So once at the gate, and you are going to send your arrival message, you need to **re-imput the flight number in the INIT page** and then you are able to send the message to our AOC!

For your info: Following our recent verification with FlyLAT, our flightnumber code for **all new routes is now SN**. **Important:** Existing (old) routes still use BEL, ex. BEL2028.

Our most recent new route, to Kos International Airport (LGKO), uses **SN3029**, not BEL3029.

NOTE: This is only for new routes. You can find the right flightnumber in FlyLAT when starting a flight.

RECORD PROFITS: Beating Last Month’s Total Revenue by Mid-October!

Hey everyone! I’m beyond proud to announce that we’ve already **beaten last month’s total revenue, and it’s only October 12th!** That’s absolutely incredible and officially a new record for us!

Last month (September), we brought in 46.3 million in revenue, but had huge expenses totaling 77.9 million (aircraft orders), leaving a net loss of -31.5 million.

As of today, we’ve already passed the 46.3 million revenue mark and already reached a **net profit of 32 million**, with 50 million in revenue and just 17 million in costs. At this pace, we’re well on track to build the capital we need to grow even faster and hit our goal of **50 aircraft by February 2026**.

Our finance team also believes we could break even, or even end 2025 with a profit! Let’s keep this momentum going!

Acquisition of new aircraft

I'm thrilled to announce the latest addition to our fleet: an Airbus A320-212 with the registration OO-MM!

This acquisition reflects the rapid growth of our crew and the continued expansion of our operations. The OO-MM is currently en route from Florida to Belgium, with a scheduled stop in Canada, and will be fully operational by tomorrow.

This magnificent aircraft marks another milestone in our journey, and we can’t wait to see it take to the skies under your wings!

New Non-Standard Procedures (NON-STD) Implemented

Attention pilots, we are introducing a new set of **Non-Standard Procedures (NON-STD)** for our operations. These procedures define how and what to communicate to the AOC during and after any situation that falls outside normal operations.

Effective immediately, every pilot in the company is required to follow them. They are designed to keep our operations consistent, realistic, and professional. **It is important to note:**

• Aircraft and crew safety always come first. Real-world emergency checklists and actions take absolute priority.
• Communication with the AOC should only be made once it is safe to do so.
• Following any NON-STD procedure, the aircraft will be placed directly into **A-CHECK maintenance** by our dispatch team in FlyLatt. This ensures a genuine financial impact, reinforcing that our operations are more than just fiction.
